      I am actually genuinly curious of your throught process on this comment. At first I laughed, but then was very curious about how you came to your criticism on this 10 year old video of mine. I re-watched the video and other than having little to no camera skills 10 years ago, I explained my meathods of re-adjusting the valves on a Yamaha Grizzly 660. The video analytics from 10 years ago up till the last report I received on this from last week shows an overwhelmingly positive feedback from watchers. I've also gotten a few more shared tips and good feedback from peope in the comment section below. Would you care to elaborate on why you felt so negatively on this video and how i "get my act together" in a more timely manner?

    Hey I came here from your Cummins hauling on 35s video, is that truck long gone? I just got a 2007 and it's in 37s thinking of going down to 35s. Did you ever have any issues hauling with it? I really don't wanna go to 33s they seem to small.

      I already replied to your comment on that video. As quoted "I kept this truck all the way into December of last year (2023) I had it for 14 years. Doing it all over again, i would have never lifted it and just put a set of 33"s on it. The ware and tear on the running gear, high cost of 35" tires and replacing brakes more often was not worth it in my opinion. I never had any transmission problems in the 48RE trans running the 35s."

  • @vidfinnx

    Is this truck gone now? This is a pretty old video, but I just got a 2007 Megacab 5.9 and it has 37s on it and I'm debating going down to 35s or 33s (the 37s and 6 inch lift are 100% coming off) but I really don't want to do 33s if I don't have to. I don't even own a trailer right now so worrying about weight is not an immediate issue lol. But I do want to start hauling doing some sidework with my truck and eventually getting a smaller Toy Hauler. My truck has an upgraded 48re in it, but I heard the problem with 35s is it will hunt between 4th and lockup on the freeway?

    Dude, do you need a booster-chair and a sippy-cup?...90% of what you're complaining about is true for ALL off-road vehicles, and 100% of what you're complaining about (save for the failed parts) was true when you walked in and bought that thing. I don't even like CanAm, but you're complaining more about what you agreed to purchase, and not something inherently wrong with that particular machine, vs the industry standard. Yes, they ARE a bunch of flimsy molded plastic, because they need to be. If they were metal, or even a heavier composite, they'd have an insane curb-weight. Tight fasteners would result in a bunch of stress-cracks everywhere. They NEED to be able to flex and bend...otherwise you'd have a bent-up embarrassing turd in no time, and then you'd be pissed-off about that. ALL manufacturers can improve, and that's for sure, but your complaints are mostly true of any machine like this that you'd go to buy. If you didn't like your sight-lines, then maybe a YXZ? If I were going to complain about canam (or polaris) it'd be more about those antiquated clutches they have. Yamaha and Kawasaki both have shown the industry there are much better cvt's out there, than these belt-hungry things. Your review...pick the scabs you want, but dude...

    What’s the liter/100km normally?

      for my daily 45 min commute one way, i hand calculated it out to average 10 literes per hundred. (dash reads 10-11) . So thats about 20 to 24 mpg. exactly what Ram states

    Have you had any engine codes after you installed that muffler?

    DO NOT DO WHAT THIS GUY JUST DID!!! Bro is over greasing the hell out of those wheel bearings. Soon as you blow out the dust ring you've effectively ruined your wheel bearings. It allows dirt and water to enter. Not only that, now your forcing the bearings to "run uphill in the sand" LESS IS MORE!! 1 or 2 pumps ONCE a year is plenty.

      I agree with you on blowing out the rubber seals with grease, however as noted by the dirty water being pushed out, the seals didnt do a very good job in the first place. Id rather push the water out, and even though the grease pushed out where the ingress happened, the first few turns of those needles will dispurse the grease inside evenly once it heats up. Plus tge grease used is fully synthetic and specifically made for high speed, high load bearing applications. I use this grease on my tractor implement bearings that spin all day long year after year You seem to think i filled the entire void in with grease when thats not what happened. I wouldnt recommend doing what i did for racing applications, but to prolong life of the general standard use wheel bearing. Hense why i said that grease is better than water. Again, not disagreeing with you but giving my reasons as to my desision.

      @ruyguy8888 That's fair. I do a lot of general trail riding but also spend a lot of time on the track. I've gone through more bearings than I can count in the 2.5 years I've owned the car, to the point I thought about buying hess knuckles just to make it an easier swap. I finally decided to spend money on some Kryptonite bearings, hoping the lifetime warranty wasn't just a trick to get twice what the other guys are charging. Before I did anything, I contacted the manufacturer to get their service recommendations so I don't "void" my warranty and that's basically what they told me. Soon as you compromise that dust ring, it's only a matter of time before you need to replace them. Following thise directions I've had no issues with these bearings. Knock on wood.

      @@ElJeFe556 I'll have to check out those Kryptonite bearings. I've not ever heard of them before so thanks for the tip. Yeah this car wont see a race track. My base warranty is long since gone already on this machine. Hoping to get a long life out of the X3.

    Wow that noise when you ran it is normal????? How much are new rollers? I replaced the secondary rollers in my proxp and they were expensive

      When people complained about the previous year's clutch noises at 5000rpms that noise is what they where talking about.. only worse. The P-drive clutch is quieter plus Can-am added insulation to both the clutch cover and the intake tubes. That whine noise isn't really noticeable while driving. The ATVs are somewhat the same. ever listen to a XMR with its snorkels up front? Might as well have some cheese with that whine. These rollers where about $100 but well worth it for lifetime guarantee and a way stronger design.

    Excellent step by step, detailed video showing taking the stock off and installation of the new. Have you noticed any changes in performance or fuel consumption with the new exhaust?

    • @ruyguy8888
      @ruyguy8888 2 місяці тому

      Thank you. I tried to make it straight forward for the install. Fuel consumption is hard to say because terrain changes so much, stoppages out on the trails etc... However by far the MOST noticeable trait was the elimination of the very high heat coming from the turbo and catalytic converter area. The sound in person is much more pleasing to ear and doesn't sound as tinny as the stock muffler did. Performance wise, i find the turbo spools a little quicker so while i can't judge HP numbers without a dyno, the acceleration off the line feels better.

      @@ruyguy8888 Thanks. Fuel consumption is a tougher one to pin point. The heat reduction would be nice, with both front and back windows the cabin gets quite warm in the summer.
